Tuition-Free Charter Schools Partner with Elior School Dining

Charlotte, NC, September 25, 2025 – Today, Elior School Dining announced a partnership with more than 100 Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) across the country, one of nation’s largest providers of education school management services in the United States.

Over the 2025 summer, Elior introduced engaging student-focused dining experiences featuring a variety of menu options prepared with fresh ingredients at CSUSA Schools including the Discovery School at Myrtle Beach in S.C., a brand-new public tuition free charter school for grades K-6; the Treaty Oaks Preparatory School in St. Augustine, Fla. and Cherry Lake Preparatory Academy in Groveland, Fla., a new school that opened enrolling grades K-6.

The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte and Concord (TMSA), eight tuition-free public charter schools focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math (STEM) in North Carolina, also selected Elior for offering thoughtfully crafted meals that respect specific dietary traditions including the preparation of Halal foods.

Elior also flew high with the grand opening of our dining partnership with the West Michigan Aviation Academy, a tuition-free public charter high school for grades 9-12 in Grand Rapids, Mich.  Among several exciting dining enhances to the new dining program is the addition of the enhanced environmental high school brand that trends with today’s students.  Reinventing these spaces is not only important to presenting attractive exciting menu items, but promotes a dining space that is fresh, modern and timeless.

“Our experience is highly valued as we model after the CSUSA learning platform, creating positive environments and dining programs that successfully engage students at all tuition-free public charter schools,” said Senior Director of Marketing for Elior Education Trent Krupica.

Elior will introduce a variety of programs focused on wellness, marketing, and expanding daily food choices. One key initiative is BeWell, a health and wellness platform, designed to enhance optimal nutrition.  BeWell menu items will be displayed on Nutrislice online menus, allowing students to view daily menu items, while providing operators access to nutrition, dietary and allergen information.

In addition to healthy menu options, students will have access to Elior registered dietitians, who will provide menu planning support for specialized diets as well as nutrition counseling.

SoGood, a value-added Elior School Dining engagement program that highlights a seasonal produce item each month, encourages the intake of more fruits and vegetables.  This also supports BeWell by offering additional healthier options and nutrition education to students at each grade level.

Global Bites, another robust promotional portfolio, is offered featuring authentic recipes from around the world. This gives students an opportunity to sample culturally diverse cuisine, while learning world cultures and dining traditions.

“We’re proud to support our schools’ mission through food, delivering a dining program that fuels both body and mind and makes the dining hall a place where students look forward to gathering every day,” said Krupica.
