Elior School Dining Expands Nutritious Menus to TMSA Schools in North Carolina

Charlotte, NC, September 3, 2026 - Elior School Dining expands its longstanding partnership with TMSA Public Charter Schools in North Carolina, having recently been awarded dining contracts for the TMSA Triad McLeansville and TMSA Triangle Durham campuses. Building on its success at TMSA’s Charlotte and Concord schools, where Elior currently serves six K–8 campuses and two high schools, more students will enjoy fresh and nutritious menus across the TMSA charter school system.

With these additions, Elior now serves more than 250 charter schools nationwide.  “One of the things we value most about Elior School Dining is their willingness to 'Make it Work.' Their flexibility, responsiveness, and partnership have strengthened our food service program and helped us better serve our students every day,” says TMSA District Lunch Coordinator Emma Modlin.

Elior will enhance dining spaces to encourage healthier eating, support learning, and, just as importantly, foster interaction among diverse student groups. Vibrant graphics, refreshed merchandising, and menus that display daily specials, nutritional information, and engaging food visuals—are all part of a series of exciting enhancements to the dining experience. 

Elior’s branding will further enhance the dining experience for students at every level—bringing a focus on Healthy, Fresh, and Delicious options to the middle schools, while elementary school students will benefit from the Fantastic Five program, ensuring every meal includes a balanced selection of fruit, dairy, protein, vegetables, and grains.

A robust promotional portfolio will also engage students including So Good, a unique program that highlights seasonal produce monthly, encouraging the intake of more fruits and vegetables; BeWell, Elior’s health and wellness platform, that offers additional healthier options and nutrition education to students at each grade level; and Global Bites, another exciting promotion that features authentic recipes from around the world! 

In addition to healthy menu options, students will have access to Elior registered dietitians, who will provide menu planning support for specialized diets as well as nutrition counseling.
