Canton, MS, September 9, 2025 – Elior School Dining is proud to be awarded the dining services contract for the Canton Public School District (CPSD) in Mississippi. The district embodies a tradition of academic excellence which drives the success of each of its over 3,300 students.
Elior welcomed students back to school on August 5, serving four elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school offering diverse menus where meals are prepared in alignment with specific nutritional requirements. Elior was selected for its experiences in serving diverse campus communities, including higher education, independent and public schools.

We were impressed with Elior’s production teams, student engagement, and most importantly, the fresh and healthier foods we experienced during a visit with a school district they manage in Hattiesburg, MS," said CPSD Executive Director of Special Programs Dr. Pamela Self. "Scholars and staff can look forward to an expanded selection of food choices and delicious meals. encouraging all, including staff, parents and the community, to dine healthier.”
Elior will encourage healthier eating with engaging and fun programs including:
- ‘Fantastic Five’ where elementary school students will always have an option of fruit, dairy, protein, vegetables and grain at each meal service;
- Healthy, Fresh and Delicious for a healthier middle school dining experience and;
- Produced in the high school’s colors, vibrant new graphics, merchandizing and digital signage featuring menus and ingredient information that will enhance a healthier dining experience.
In addition to healthy menu options, students will have access to Elior registered dietitians, who will provide menu planning support for specialized diets as well as nutrition counseling.
Stephany Griebler will serve as the district manager and Olivia Mitchell will serve as the onsite food service director.
